07/11/2018 Conference session titled "Tuition Fees for International Students: The Swedish Case" during the Global Super Wednesday event in Uppsala, featuring the presentation "Tuition Fees in Sweden: Westernised Student Body, Gatekeeping Scholarships and Questionable Economic Benefits?" by André Bryntesson and Mikael Börjesson, as well as Jérôme Rickmann's presentation "Open for Business? Case Studies into Organisational Adaptation at Swedish Universities after the Introduction of Tuition Fees for International Non-EU Students". The session titled "Scholarships and Organizations Supporting International Academic Migration" included a presentation by Christin Mays titled "Have Scholarship, Will Travel: On Funding for Swedish-American Academic Exchange in the Twentieth Century" and Mikael Börjesson's presentation "Swedish Institute Scholarship Holders. A Study of the Swedish Institute Scholarships". During the session "Tuition Fees for International Students: Nordic Perspective" Mette Ginnerskov Dahlberg presented on the theme "EU Integration and the Financial Situation of International Students: The case of Eastern European Master's Students in Denmark", Anna Medvedeva spoke of the "Debate about Tuition Fees in Finland: Values vs. Market" and Jannecke Wiers-Jenssen on "Free Higher Education for International Students in Norway". Finally, Jannecke Wiers-Jenssen also held a keynote presentation on the topic of "International Student Mobility. The Case of Norway".
