5th Joint Staff Training Event on Open Learning Environment and Student Engagement (IO5)

The staff training involves collaboration on the 5th intellectual output, “Framework on open and engaging learning environments”.
The student mobility enables students to gain an international perspective of the developments of primary school teaching, to share experiences and to integrate new knowledge and skills into everyday/future practice.
The event is on zoom and hosted by Tallinn University.
NB: These are Finnish/Estonian times. Sweden: reduce one hour!

12.15-12.45 Learning can happen everywhere, presentation by Inge Timoštšuk.
12.45-14.15 Sharing experiences about learning and engaging in different environments, presentations from all three universities.
15.15-16.00 Discussion on nuances of collaboration: how can we support the collaboration between teachers and specialists of different environments?
16.15-16.45 Welcoming student teachers!
16.45-17.45 Group work for student teachers.

10.00 Good morning! Orientation to Day 2
10.15-11.45 Discussion with a focus on the meta-level: how to ensure student teachers’ meaningful engagement in complex environments, indicators of engagement and indicators of learning.
12.30-13.30 Presentation of student teachers’ group work.
13.40-14.10 Discussion: do the same principles apply to pupils’ and student teachers’ support?
